The great and powerful President Donald J. Trump learned Friday that his fight to STOP THE THEFT of American citizenship will get its well-deserved hearing before the Supreme Court, when SCOTUS announced that it had granted the White House request for certiorari made back in September.
That requested for certiorari before SCOTUS on the birthright citizenship issue followed on the heels of a preliminary injunction issued by a feckless unelected, black-robed, tyrannical, inferior, federal district trial court judge against Trump’s inauguration day executive order would stop the issuance of citizenship documents to children born on American soil to illegal migrants and temporary visitors to the US, limiting birthright citizenship to children born to American citizen parents or permanent resident aliens.
Although for decades the United States government has pretended that simply being born on American soil magically secures American citizenship, in fact the history, tradition, Constitution, statute, and court precedence are all firmly aligned against that proposition, and limiting birthright citizenship—as noted in Trump’s executive order—to the children born to American citizen parents or permanent resident aliens.
In today’s open-access show we’ll break down this history, tradition, Constitution, statute, and court precedence in favor of the properly limited birthright citizenship, and we’ll follow that with the member’s only show in which we’ll read through and break down Solicitor General John Sauer’s original argument to SCOTUS for limited birthright citizenship made back in September that led SCOTUS this past Friday to grant certiorari on birthright citizenship.
